Slavonski Brod, Cravatten Statt
On historical map of the Habsburg Monarchy dated in 1697, a part of Slavonski Brod, today the centre of the city - The Square of Ivana Brlic-Mazuranic and the surrounding area – was given name in the German language Cravatten Statt. The map was prepared by Nikola Sparr de Bensdorf from the Netherlands, and is kept in the Military Archives in Vienna.
